Only once you're happy, you choose your package and pay securely through Stripe, I never see or store your card details. Your domain is registered in your name, not mine, from day one, and it's yours to keep permanently, even if you ever leave Larkwell.

Plainly: your domain sits in your name from day one, never mine. Your design and content are yours once your final payment clears. If you are on the care plan I host it for speed, but you can take a full copy and leave anytime, no hostage situations. Full detail in the terms.

Every site is live within 3 days of getting your content, guaranteed. The slow part is you sending photos, not me building.

No. The build is a one-off cost, and the care plan is completely optional. Without it, I don't host your site: you get the website file, the same one you saw in your preview, and putting it online is up to you. I can still point you to a simple, often free, way to do that.
Your business name, what you offer, your prices if you list them, your contact details, and any photos you have. If you are missing something, I will help you sort it. No photos yet? I can use clean, tasteful placeholders until you have your own.

Just message me. Small updates like new prices, photos or opening hours are what the care plan covers. Bigger additions are quoted up front so you always know the cost before I start.
No catch. Larkwell is new, and the fastest way to build a portfolio of real local businesses is to make the price an easy yes. You get the exact same build a later customer will pay full price for, I get a happy client and a site I can point to. Once the portfolio is there, the launch pricing goes with it.
The build is a one-off. After that, just two things: your domain renews yearly (usually under $30, in your name), and hosting, included in the $49/month care plan, or I'll set you up with a cheap or free option if you'd rather go it alone. Compare that to a DIY builder subscription running $30 to $60 every month, forever.
You are not paying for a mystery box. You see a full working preview before any money changes hands, and each package includes rounds of changes to get it right. If it genuinely is not working out, you are free to walk away before paying, no hard feelings.
If you are off the care plan, yes, you get full access to make your own updates. If you are on the care plan, I handle the small edits so you do not have to touch it, but you can always ask for your logins back and take it over yourself. Either way, it is never locked to me.
Cancel anytime, no exit fee. You keep the site and I hand over a full copy plus your hosting logins so you (or whoever you choose) can take it from there. Any updates already in progress when you cancel get finished first.
